America needs to know the kolache...

Several years ago, our founder (a native Texan), was on vacation in Florida
and decided he’d surprise the family with breakfast. He headed to the nearest
bakery and ordered a dozen kolaches, only to discover that they’d never even
heard of a kolache. Several more unsuccessful attempts convinced him - the
rest of the country was missing out, and the idea for Fruhstucks was born.

Traditional quality and craftsmanship...

With a nod to its eastern European heritage, Fruhstucks (pronounced
Froo-Stuks) means breakfast in German. With our chef on board and the
concept rolling, we quickly decided that breakfast wasn’t the only time
these tasty treats could be enjoyed. New and unique ingredients were added,
and we soon had a menu full of hearty, healthy, hand-held goodness that
makes a great meal or snack any time of day.

We use the highest quality, freshest ingredients we can find - lean, tender
meats, fresh fruits and vegetables and cheeses seasoned with fresh herbs
and spices - and hand-prepare our kolaches, rolls, muffins and cakes from
scratch every day. Then our friendly staff serves ‘em up fresh in a clean,
comfortable, cafe-style environment.

Stay a while...

Fruhstucks is designed around a European-style bakery cafe. We’re not a
factory, and we’re not a nite club either. You’ll find a quiet, comfortable
place to stop and enjoy your meal, maybe catch your soaps or sports updates
at lunch on our large flat screen TVs, or sip a latte while you check your
e-mail and chat on-line in our FREE Wi-Fi environment.
